Grape picking have started on october 6th and are now complete.
The spring was very rainy and cold, and the winegrowers were very anxious, but september was sunny and dry, and the grapes have matured in good conditions. As we use to say that "september makes the vintage", it was true again.
We will be able to produce dry and medium dry wines, perhaps some "moelleux", and the acidity level will be good for the sparkling wines.
For the moment, the wine growers are taking care of the fermentation, and we have to wait for a few weeks to taste the vintage 2008.
We hope to see you in spring 2009 for a tasting of these wines.
